🚀 Sınavda Karşılaştırma (Comparative & Superlative) Sorularını Çözme Algoritması (3 Adım)
- Cümlede "than" Var mı?: Boşluktan hemen sonra veya cümlenin devamında "than" görüyorsan bu kesinlikle bir Comparative (kıyaslama) sorusudur! Hemen -er veya more içeren şıklara odaklan; the most, the -est şıklarını ele!
- Boşluğun Önünde "the" veya Sonda "in the world / of all" Var mı?: Boşluğun hemen önünde "the" varsa ya da cümlenin sonunda in the world, in the classroom, of all, I've ever seen gibi genel bir grup belirtiliyorsa bu bir Superlative (en üstünlük) sorusudur → the -est veya the most seçilmelidir!
- Çift Kıyaslama (Double Comparative) Tuzağına Düşme: Şıklarda "more taller", "most oldest" gibi hem 'more' hem de '-er' içeren çeldiriciler görürsen derhal üzerlerini çiz! Tek heceli sıfatlar sadece -er / -est alır.
1. Comparative Adjectives (İki Şeyi Karşılaştırma - "Daha...")
İki kişi, nesne veya yeri birbiriyle kıyaslarken kullanılır. Temel ipucu kelimesi "than" (-den / -dan) bağlacıdır.
📌 Kısa (Tek Heceli) Sıfatlar: Sıfat + -er + than
👉 old → older than (daha yaşlı/eski)
👉 fast → faster than (daha hızlı)
👉 big → bigger than (sessiz harf çiftleşir)
👉 easy → easier than (y harfi düşer, -ier gelir)
📌 Uzun (Çok Heceli) Sıfatlar: more + Sıfat + than
👉 expensive → more expensive than (daha pahalı)
👉 comfortable → more comfortable than (daha rahat)
👉 dangerous → more dangerous than (daha tehlikeli)
👉 old → older than (daha yaşlı/eski)

2. Superlative Adjectives (En Üstünlük Derecesi - "En...")
Bir grubu oluşturan kişiler veya nesneler arasında "en" olanı belirtir. Superlative yapılarının önünde mutlaka "THE" belirteci bulunur.

- ... in the world / in the city / in our school: The Namib Desert is the oldest desert in the world.

- ... of all: Mount Everest is the highest peak of all.
3. Düzensiz Sıfatlar (Irregular Adjectives) Tablosu
Bazı sıfatlar kurallara uymaz (-er / -est almaz), tamamen şekil değiştirir. Sınavlarda en çok bu tablo test edilir:

4. Eşitlik Yapısı: as ... as (... kadar)
İki şeyin eşit derecede bir özelliğe sahip olduğunu veya olmadığını anlatır. Araya sıfat yalın haliyle (ek almadan) girer.
➕ Olumlu: as + YALIN SIFAT + as (kadar...)
👉 She is as tall as her brother. (Kardeşi kadar uzun.)
➖ Olumsuz: not as / not so + YALIN SIFAT + as (... kadar değil)
